Stepping Into My God-Calling Even When I Feel Inadequate

The Delay That Revealed My Doubt
For weeks, I wrestled with insecurity and impostor syndrome, questioning whether I was truly equipped for this God-calling on my life.

I’ve sat with this draft for months. Maybe even years.
The mic has been ready. The podcast name? Announced.
Ideas? Overflowing.
But the execution? Delayed.
Why? Because sometimes, stepping into your calling feels more terrifying than staying stuck.

I’ve wrestled with questions I know many of you have asked, too:
“What if I’m not consistent enough?”
“What if no one listens?”
“What if I’m not good enough to do what others do so effortlessly?”
“What if I’m pouring out something nobody wants from me?”
Obedience to My God-Calling Doesn’t Require Perfection
And still—I know I’m called to this.
Even when I’m overwhelmed.

Even while I’m finishing up the final two modules of The Divine Purpose Academy.
Even when I wonder if there’s space for my voice among all the other incredible ones already speaking.
I’m not immune to comparison. I’m not always confident.
But I am convinced: God doesn’t wait until I’m ready.
He moves when I’m obedient.
This podcast—Fueling Passion & Driving Impact—isn’t about me having it all figured out.
It’s about me walking forward anyway.
With shaky hands. With a full schedule. With a heart that still questions its own authority sometimes.
But here’s what I know for sure:
“God is still working on me. And I don’t have to wait to be perfected to be used.”
He just asks me to start.
So, I’m starting.

This Isn’t Just My Story—It’s Yours Too
And maybe this isn’t just about me.
Maybe it’s about you too.
Maybe you’re also staring down something you’ve been meaning to begin for far too long—a business idea, a blog, a course, a shift, a season.
Maybe this is your sign that you don’t have to feel fully confident to walk in obedience.
Start with what you know. Use what you already have.
And trust that God will reveal the rest, in His time.
If this resonated with you, I’d love to hear from you.
Share what you’re stepping into.
Or what’s kept you from starting.
Let’s walk this out together.
Because purpose isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence.
And I’m showing up—even in the waiting.

P.S. I’ll be sharing a few podcast episodes early with my private launch team before the show officially drops. If you’d like to get a sneak peek and help spread the word, I’d love for you to join us!
