Do you ever wake up from a moment realizing you've been living in the past?

Through life, we gather experiences, knowledge, and emotions (usually from triumphs or traumas), and sometimes we gather wisdom and self-awareness.

By the age of twenty, I had experienced two significant losses to death. Two people died way before "their time". Or did they?

I spent at least a few years trying to answer that question until one day, it was time to move on. I woke up one day and realized that I cannot live for answers I won't ever get or the "what ifs" in life connected to the people I had lost.

When I recently learned new information about one of those accidents, it changed my perspective entirely which made me think, "What if I had been stuck on this for the past 25 years?"

The Weight of the Past:

We all carry burdens from our past – regrets, mistakes, hurts, and unanswered questions. These burdens can weigh us down, keeping us tethered to what was, preventing us from fully embracing the present and stepping into the future God has planned for us. But what if there was a way to break free?

But there's hope. In Christ, we find the power to break free from the chains of the past. His love heals our wounds, His grace forgives our mistakes, and His presence fills the voids left by loss.

When we surrender our burdens to Him, we find freedom to live fully in the present, trusting that He is working all things for our good.
