How does someone learn how to use essential oils?

When I first learned about essential oils (in 2015), I was blown away to quickly experience legitimate benefits. Initially, I used a Thieves Roll-On to ward off a sinus infection during a road trip. Hurriedly, I wanted to resolve other issues with these natural substances. Next, it was sleep regression for my son, and then I moved onto bigger issues that had been lingering for years. Each time, I found a solution.

I only use and recommend Young Living

I wanted to jump into my oily journey with both feet; therefore, immediately start sharing what we were doing with Essential Oils and how our lives were positively changed for the better.

Don’t misjudge essential oils for a popular trend; they have been around for many, many years, and are used in a variety of ways to support emotional and physical needs and can create a deep spiritual awareness. Essential Oils are the distilled essence of plants and come highly concentrated when you find a trusted supplier.

I only use and recommend Young Living

Essential Oils because their unmatched Seed to Seal process guarantees the purity and potency of each oil and get this… they don’t have an expiration date and they offer a vitality line of oils that are safe for ingestion.

Carrier Oils are often helpful when using essential oils topically because it might be necessary to dilute an essential oil. Coconut Oil and V-6 (vegetable) oil are two examples of carrier oils. Always choose a natural, unadulterated carrier oil and ALWAYS use carrier oils when using essential oils on infants, children or if you have sensitive skin.

Of course, I have several favorites that we use every day, so here are a few of my must-haves:

The Weight of Self-Doubt, Shame, and Fear

Sister, have you ever felt the crushing weight of self-doubt, shame, and fear? Like an invisible force, it holds you back, whispers lies in your ear, and keeps you from stepping into your God-given potential.

Today, I feel the weight of those emotions myself. It's been a rough year, filled with unexpected challenges and setbacks. I know changes need to be made, but the path forward seems shrouded in fog.

Where do these feelings come from? Often, they stem from:

Past mistakes: The lingering echoes of decisions we wish we could undo.
Failures: The sting of not meeting our own expectations or those of others.
Letting others down: The guilt of being unable to be everything to everyone.

But here's the truth: We weren't created to carry those burdens alone.

God is our refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in times of trouble. He sees our struggles, hears our cries, and longs to lift the weight of self-doubt, shame, and fear from our shoulders.

As 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV) reminds us: "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."

When we surrender our fears to God, He promises to replace them with peace, hope, and a renewed sense of purpose. He doesn't condemn us for our past mistakes; He offers forgiveness, grace, and a fresh start.

So, sister, let's lay our burdens at His feet today. Let's trust in His unwavering love and allow Him to guide our steps.
